No they don't! - They'll have everything they need to get going!
Optional extra - If they have some around the house (or they'd like to buy a pair) I’d suggest also using a pair of pliers.
These aren’t essential as they can use their fingers to hold and bend the wire as it’s so thin, but they just might find these helpful to use if they have them already or choose to buy a pair.
