Getting started

What do I get in my kit?

In your kit:

  • Your leaves created using my own digital illustrations
  • Beautiful pearlescent paper for backing the leaves
  • Cut to size stems, ready to use
  • A tiny terracotta plant pot
  • Your micro stones, to fill your pot and secure your plant
  • An explainer insert including a link to my step-by-step video tutorial

  • High quality glue

Do I need anything else to get started?

No you don't! - You'll have everything you need to get going!

Optional extra - If you have some around the house (or you’d like to buy a pair) I’d suggest also using a pair of pliers.

These aren’t essential as you can use your fingers to hold and bend the wire as it’s so thin, but you just might find these helpful to use if you have them already or choose to buy a pair.

What about plants that I’ve missed?

You can backorder previous plants at any time, and at a 10% discount from your plan rate. you’ll never be without your favourite make!

Why should I subscribe?

If you love plants, enjoy a good craft project (or just want to try something new), this is for you.

Each month, you’ll receive a beautifully designed kit with everything you need to make a miniature paper plant - no green thumb or crafting experience needed. It’s creative, calming, and a little bit addictive (in the best way).

This subscription is perfect if you’re looking for:

Can I give a subscription as a gift?

You can - you’ll want to head to the Gift It page. All gifts are prepaid (so there’s no ongoing subscription to manage), and you can choose from 1, 3, 6, or 12 kits depending on how generous you’re feeling!

You’ll also be able to add a handwritten gift message at checkout to make it extra special.

I have a health condition - will these be suitable for me?

My kits are designed to be a calming and enjoyable creative experience, but I know that everyone’s abilities and circumstances are different.

If you have a physical condition that affects dexterity, such as Parkinson’s or arthritis, you may find some elements of the kits – like cutting and assembling small pieces – more challenging. Some customers have adapted the process by using alternative tools (e.g., spring-loaded scissors) or taking their time over multiple sittings.

If focus, motivation, or time are concerns (for example, due to ADHD, anxiety, or other mental health challenges), the kits are completely self-paced. There are no deadlines, and you can make them whenever it feels right for you.

If you’re unsure whether the kits will suit your needs, feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to offer guidance or suggestions based on what might work best for you.

Shipping

When will you send my kit?

Kits are shipped every month between 13th - 15th.

Sign up before the 5th - your first kit will be sent between 13th - 15th of the same month.

Sign up after the 5th - your first kit will be sent between 13th - 15th of the next month.

What countries do you ship to?

Right now I ship to the UK, USA, Canada and Australia.

Shipping within the UK is free, outside of the UK charges are calculated at checkout.

How do I change my shipping address?

To update your address please log into your account and you will have an option to update your shipping information. (If your address is not updated by the time your billing date has passed for the month please be aware your box will be shipped to the current address on file.) If you need any help send an email to nicole@nicolesjungle.com.

My kit hasn’t arrived, what should I do?

Your subscription box which will be sent via Royal Mail between 13th - 15th of each month

- UK sent Royal Mail 48 Hour Tracked, delivery aim 2-4 working days
- US sent International Tracked - delivery aim 5-7 working days

Should your box not arrive within the above days of the regular delivery dates (13th - 15th of each month) please contact me via email at nicole@nicolesjungle.com.

Something arrived damaged, what happens now?

Oh no! Inevitably this will happen from time to time. I am unable to guarantee everyone who handles my boxes from me to you will be as careful I was in putting it together. Just email me at nicole@nicolesjungle.com and send me a picture and I will be happy to replace any damaged items.

Billing & Account Management

When will I be billed?

Your first payment is taken straight away when you checkout. All following payments are billed on 20th of each month.

Can I change my subscription length?

If you are on a 1 month or 6 month plan and want to upgrade to a 6 or 12 month plan, drop an email to nicole@nicolesjungle.com and I’ll arrange that straight away.

You can’t downgrade a plan (from 12 down to 6 or 1 month for example) If you’re on a 1 month plan and have been subscribed for more than 3 months you can skip a payment (and pause your subscription).

If you’re on a 6 or 12 month plan and you’re struggling and would like to discuss this, I review these on a case-by-cases basis. Please email me at nicole@nicolesjungle.com.

Why was my subscription renewed?

Nicole’s Jungle Make Your Own Paper Plant is a subscription service that automatically renews at the end of each cycle, the same as most other services of it's type. We do this to ensure all members of our community don’t miss a single box. If you want to change or cancel your subscription, please log into your subscription page and follow the on-screen instructions. If you have signed up for a multi month subscription you will still be charged for the remaining boxes if you cancel before the end of your commitment term. If you have any problems you can email nicole@nicolesjungle.com and I will be happy to help.

How do I update my billing information?

You can do this by logging into your Nicole’s Jungle account at https://checkout.nicolesjungle.com/account/auth/login If you need help with this, please email nicole@nicolesjungle.com and I will be happy to assist you.

Are the payments secure?

Absolutely. Your personal information that is processed and protected by our systems and partners is kept secure - always.

What is your cancellation policy?

I’ll be sad to see you go, but you can turn off your auto-renewal at any time. Just log in to your account, go to the subscription page and select the option set to cancel. If you have committed to a multi-month subscription and have boxes left to receive you will be charged for, and will be shipped the remaining boxes. Then upon completion of your original commitment, your subscription will automatically be cancelled. E.G If you sign up for a 12-month subscription, set your account to cancel and have paid for 8 boxes, you will be charged for another 4 before your subscription finishes.
